The approach to the redesign of this living and dining area is a simple one - clean lines, abstract elements, and the need to accommodate the essential furniture in a minimal and comfortable way. The access to the living area from the foyer has been filtered by creating a signature wooden panel evoking the abstract lines of the sliding door chosen for the laundry room.
The existing wooden flooring has been left intact and the colors for the room have been chosen to integrate the color of wood with the rest. The splashes of color in the room are given by the accent pieces and the feature wall(s) while everything else follows a black, white, blue and wood color scheme. While choosing the furniture for the room, care has been taken to ensure the client’s requests and budget have been met.
