Cari designer e architetti, ciao e grazie in anticipo a coloro che vorranno aiutarci in questa impresa.

Siamo una famiglia di quattro persone di cui due bambini in età scolare, uno maschio ed una femmina. Vorremmo rimodernare una casa di famiglia nata, negli anni, dalla congiunzione di due unità singole (appartamenti) divise da un muro portante nel quale è stata aperto un passaggio creando un unico ambiente.

Ci piacciono le case moderne, con soluzioni ingegnose ed audaci, ma ciò che ricerchiamo è un ambiente che deve assolutamente essere accogliente e caldo, che deve far stare bene chiunque ci passi del tempo infondendo tranquillità e benessere. L’ambiente è arredato in modo rustico e ciò non rispecchia propriamente i nostri gusti, però ci rendiamo conto che “buttare” quanto ora in essere, e sicuramente sano, sarebbe un vero peccato. Quindi vi chiediamo di creare un ambiente cercando di mantenere quante più cose “buone” ritenete già esserci, ma ricavare 3 camere da letto. In particolare, il caminetto che si vede nelle foto, ricoperto da una struttura in rame fatta su misura che, sebbene non sia proprio di nostro gradimento, vorremmo mantenere /valorizzare, magari creando un contrasto con qualcosa di più moderno.

Attualmente il pavimento è in piastrelle di cotto, ma abbiamo intenzione di rivestire con un più caldo legno (avremmo identificato il rovere). Punto di attenzione sono i diversi livelli della casa, come si vede dagli scalini sulla piantina, che non si possono certamente togliere ma che con il vostro aiuto vorremmo rendere più omogenei ed integrati nel complesso.

Siamo aperti a valutare la possibilità di fare opere di muratura sui muti esistenti, cercando però di non rendere l’operazione troppo complessa e quindi costosa, sperando in piccoli interventi ingegnosi ma di grande utilità.

Cerchiamo uno spazio che comprenda 3 camere da letto: una matrimoniale e due singole per i ragazzi. I bagni vorremmo poterli lasciare nella stessa posizione, anche per evitare le grandi spese che comporterebbero il loro spostamento, anche visto che sono recenti e che forse con piccoli interventi sui mobili, potremmo rendere più vicini ai nostri gusti. Abbiamo valutato la possibilità di un'opera di muratura sul bagno più piccolo (quello di sinistra sulla piantina) allargandone la parete, ma non vogliamo condizionare il vostro lavoro, quindi potete proporre ciò che ritenete più opportuno, cercando tuttavia di inserire uno spazio per lavatrice ed asciugatrice, ora non presenti.

Infine, vorremmo valorizzare in qualche modo il pergolato/terrazzo coperto: inizialmente pensavamo di collocare lì la cucina (zona ora priva di allacciamenti acqua e gas), idea che non ci dispiace. Però ci siamo accorti che il cuore della casa, ossia il salotto vicino al caminetto, si trova troppo distante nel caso ci siano ospiti. Questa stanza è, per altro, la prima alla quale si accede direttamente entrando in casa, quindi vorremmo che venga creata una zona dedicata come un ingresso dove poter riporre scarpe, giubbetti e tutto ciò che si vuole lasciare prima di essere accolti nella zona living.

Trattandosi dell’ultimo piano (2°) di una casa di nostra proprietà, esiste un sottotetto, non abitabile ma accessibile da due scale, quindi valutiamo la possibilità di toglierne una delle due (anche perché molto vicine), preferibilmente la più grande ed ingombrante a favore del mantenimento della più piccola (e fatta su misura), che si vede nelle foto.

Esiste un “vincolo” dove appongo la "X"sulla piantina, riferita ad una stufa in maiolica che risulterebbe davvero molto complessa da togliere e ricollocare in altre zone. Quindi vorremmo poter lasciare la stessa dove sta. Se la cosa risultasse però davvero troppo vincolante, valutiamo lo spostamento, anche se preferiremmo evitarlo.

Ci immaginiamo un ambiente più moderno ma soprattutto “caldo” ed ospitale, che non risenta del cambio delle mode ed il trascorre del tempo. Si tratta di una casa di famiglia e che desidereremmo tenere per molti anni.

Dear designers and architects, hello and thank you in advance to those who want to help us in this venture.

We are a family of four people, two are in school age, one male and one female. We would like to modernize a family home born over the years from the collaboration of two single units (apartments) divided by a load-bearing wall in which a passage was opened creating a single environment.

We like modern houses, with ingenious and daring solutions, but what we are looking for is an environment that must absolutely be welcoming and warm, which must make anyone who takes time pass by instilling peace and relaxation. The environment is furnished in a rustic way and this does not really reflect our tastes, but we realize that "throwing" what is now in place, and certainly healthy, would be a real shame. So we ask you to create an environment by trying to keep as many "good" things as you may already be, but make 3 bedrooms.

In particular, the fireplace that you see in the photos, covered by a custom-made copper structure that, although not really to our liking, we would like to maintain, perhaps creating a contrast with something more modern.

Currently the floor is in terracotta tiles, but we intend to cover with a warmer wood (we would have identified the oak).
Point of attention are the different levels of the house, as seen from the steps on the map, which can not be removed, but with your help we would like to make it more homogeneous and integrated into the complex.

We are open to evaluate the possibility of making masonry works on existing dumb, but trying not to make the operation too complex and therefore expensive, hoping for small but ingenious but very useful interventions.
We look for a space that includes 3 badrooms: one double and two singles for the boys. The bathrooms we would like to be able to leave them in the same position, also to avoid the large expenses that would result in their movement, even considering that they are recent and that perhaps with small interventions on furniture, we could make closer to our tastes. We have evaluated the possibility of a masonry work on the smaller bathroom (the left one on the map) widening the wall, but we do not want to condition your work, so you can propose what you consider most appropriate, however trying to insert a space for washing machine and dryer, now not present.

Finally, we would like to highlight somehow the pergola / covered terrace: initially we thought of placing the kitchen there (area now without water and gas connections), an idea that we do not mind. But we realized that the heart of the house, or the living room near the fireplace, is too far away if there are guests. This room is, moreover, the first to be accessed directly entering the house, so we would like to create a dedicated area as an entrance where you can store shoes, jackets and everything you want to leave before being welcomed in the living area.
Being the last floor (2 °) of a house of our property, there is an attic, not habitable but accessible by two stairs, then we evaluate the possibility of removing one of the two (also because very close), preferably the largest and bulky in favor of maintaining the smallest (and made to measure), which is seen in the photos.

There is a "bond" where I place the "X" on the map, referring to a tiled stove that would be very complex to remove and relocate to other areas. So we would like to be able to leave the same place where it is. If the thing turns out to be really too binding, we evaluate the move, even if we would rather avoid it.

We imagine a more modern environment but above all "warm" and hospitable, which is not affected by the change of fashions and the passing of time. This is a family home and we would like to keep it for many years.
