Briefing

Currently the attic consists of a single room, where there is a relaxing area / living area, plus a walk-in closet and a bathroom.
There are two options to choose from: 1) divide the space and creating a living area and the bedroom for the children, so as not to upset the environment and maintain the ability to have a space to relax, both for children and for the parents. 2) move the entire sleeping area to the attic, with both the master bedroom and the children's room. The whole project is conditioned by the presence of a spiral staircase with all the logistical constraints that it entails in the choice of furnishings.

The environment is partially divided by a plasterboard wall where there is currently a small studio and where, following your advice, I would like to place the two children's bedrooms.
Looking at the pictures of the space will give you a better idea. The choice of style is definitely conditioned by the maintenance of furniture and especially the optimization of space. Style must 'just blend in with the furniture present and the presence of exposed beams on the ceiling.'
A major limitation of the attic is the lack of natural light (despite the presence of three skylights). Therefore the optimization of artificial light is also one aspect to be reckoned with.

La mansarda attualmente e' composta da un'ambiente unico dove e' presente una zona relax/living,una cabina armadio ed un bagno.E' necessario un cambiamento o parziale (zona living/zona notte cameretta bimbi per non sconvolgere troppo l'ambiente e per avere la possibilita' di uno sfogo sia per i bimbi che per i genitori nei momenti di relax),o totale (siamo molto combattuti dalla possibilita' di creare la zona notte per tutta la famiglia camera matrimoniale e cameretta bimbi).Tutto il progetto e' condizionato dalla presenza di una scala a chiocciola con tutti i limiti logistici che ne comporta nella valutazione della scelta dei mobili/letti etc...!
L'ambiente e' semi diviso da una parete di cartongesso dove attualmente c'e' un piccolo studio e dove seguendo i vostri consigli andrebbe la camerette dei due bimbi.
Le foto renderanno meglio l'idea.La scelta dello stile e' sicuramente condizionata dal mantenimento di alcuni mobili e soprattutto dall'ottimizzazione degli spazi,lo stile dovra' appunto integrarsi con i mobili presenti e con la presenza di travi a vista.
Un grosso limite di una mansarda di questo tipo e' presentato da una scarsa luce naturale (presenza di 3 lucernai) quindi anche l'ottimizzazione della luce artificiale e' sicuramente un'aspetto da non sottovalutare.
