Hi! On March 1st, We’re moving in a 160mq+20mq balcony apt in Dubai Marina – Gate 1 tower.
Kitchen, all 5 bathrooms, closets and lights are there and can’t be touched. We cannot change the unit layout and we’d like to buy furniture we can easily move, in case we’ll decide to move again next year. So.. no build-in furniture pls!
Moreover, furniture has to be available in Dubai in few days and sellers need to provide transportation and assembly.
Total spending should no go above 75,000AED, additional points will be granted to projects with best quality/price ratio.
Now, some guidelines for each room:
1. Living room: We’d like to have some creative ideas on how to use at best our living room (there is a big pillar to deal with)
2. Kitchen: we need to increase the storage space (pots, dishes, glasses, kitchenware, food, water bottles,..), without reducing air too much
3. Master bedroom (the one with closet-room and shower+bath in the toilet): we want to transform it in our home-office (covid.. you know..), but in case travelling will be feasible again, we’d like to use it as a guest-room for 2 people as well. Moreover, notice that we’ve shipped a large amount of books from our home country
4. Smallest bedroom: this should be our baby room. He is a 4-months old boy now
5. Marina bedroom (i.e. the other large bedroom facing the Marina): this should be our room, quite sunny but super bright. We’re both tall and our baby boy is still sleeping with us, so no less than a 180x200cm bed
6. Bathrooms: in the bathroom linked to Marina bedroom, we’d need to deal with our baby and find some more space for our bath/makeup/etc. products
7. Balcony: we’d like to have a cosy lively balcony for the large one and a niche for (working) breaks for the small one
One important notice: pls provide advise, not considering the dust room, on where to store our shoes (not a few.. i can assure you!)
Thanks,
A
