Description

Wood, steel, plaster. Three Simple materials that can be Combined to renew completely the appearance of the house giving it a modern look but at the same time rustic.
On the ground floor we opted for a contrast between light wood and dark color finishes.
For example the fireplace, made to measure, and the black floor near the fireplace separate the great wooden element on which rests a metal plate, other than enclose the fireplace and a storage area of the wood, it creates a comfortable seat behind the window.
The masonry work on the ground floor are minimal, regarding the elimination of the cabinet to the wall in the kitchen and the creation of a glass door that allows direct access to the cellar, and at the same time allows to those who are in the kitchen admire the cellar entirely with the stone wall and mood lighting.
In the kitchen room we decided to introduce a small accompanying relaxation area for food preparation times. Alternatively, the sofa can be removed and left the space for a large table.
The scale at the entrance has been replaced with a wooden and glass scale to create a contrast between its and the stone that will be uncovered.
The masonry work on the first floor is more consistent to allow the creation of 4 rooms with a bathroom each one. The only constraint in this environment were the already existing doors in the load-bearing masonry. We decided to keep unchanged as not to weaken the masonry, and at the same time access to the corridor occurs through an invisible door that is equal to the forniture of the bar, creating a surface without discontinuity points.
In the large living room it is has retained the large sofa in its position with your lamp.
It was made a further scale in the cinema room to access the upper floor. For its implementation it was mandatory follow the direction of the floor joists.
The first floor and second floor are opposed with the ground floor for contrast. Here the black color gives way to white color that invades both floors. The staircase connecting the first floor and second floor contrasts with light and almost invisible staircase of the ground floor-first floor with a very massive form, but both stairs have wooden steps.
In the second floor, the bathroom it has been reduced to allow easier access to the bedroom and allows for a direct connection between the private lounge room and the open space. The separation of glass is repeated to allow the access of the light and create a more free access. Same treatment was reserved for the room.
In the master room was made two different walk-in closet, one for her and one for him.
In the bathroom the bathtub was positioned under the window in the roof.
Outside, as you requested a new garage has been created one that can contain two cars. From here you can access the upper terrace connected to the rest of farmhouse. Behind the garage taking advantage of the excavation for its realization, was made a large pool.
