I´m very excited to present our proposal for your house.
We saw the wonderful views of the site, the vegetation, and the surroundings look very beautiful.
From this point, we began to locate the house spaces.
In the first place, we took the desition to make a very private volume to the exterior and make all the
living around the wonderful garden you will have in the back.
With these ideas, we made three options
Option A - 1 Floor without a basement
Option B - 2 Floors without a basement ( Our favorite and our recommendation)
Option C - 1 Floor with a basement
Option A
You will notice all the private rooms are on the left side of the house, while the public spaces are on the right side.
In every option, you will have a beautiful terrace in front of the living space so you can open to both spaces the garden
and the terrace making an infinite living room.
Option B
In this option, we have a similar organization than in option A, but we have a double-height as you like in the living room
in this case the main bedroom is upstairs giving you more privacy from the rest of the house.
Also, you will have more gardens, because the footprint of the buildings gets smaller making a bigger garden on the side.
In all options, we have a corridor that connects all spaces, this corridor gives us the opportunity to have this linear
distribution and separating public and private spaces.
Option C
This option's like the first option, but we have a basement. We think this is not a good idea because you can have the cars parked in front of the house. Even with a little roof if you don't want t get wet.
If you make a basement all the digging will make the construction costs go higher
The Materials
- We are thinking in a concrete base, to separate the building from the ground.
- Then we propose a metallic and very light steel structure. Another option would be masonry and concrete.
