Description

Dear client,
It was a real pleasure working on your project. The main challenge in this project is to achieve a solution which attract the highest number of tourists on the main terrace for a drink. This solution must have harmony with its historical context and also be simple, functional, elegant and economical.
Well, one of main ideas considered for this project is a transparent façade which visually connect the inside and outside of the café. Along with a beautiful and cozy terrace that will be represented to the potential customer We tried to design the interior with all its functions and needs in a way that when a tourist passes the street and looks at the café through its transparent façade, it persuades him to seat on the delightful terrace and have a drink by his own or with his family and friends.
In fact, we believe that if pedestrians see inside and outside of the café as a whole and realize the connection between all elements of the project through a patulous view; it could be very persuasive and charming for them to choose this place for having a memorable evening in center of the Rab.
The main servicing area is placed on the left side of the interior. Sink and washing area located behind a wall to avoid dirty space visible from the outside; Also, it has proper relation to storage and dishwashing machine. Washroom, bathroom and storage placed in the right side of the plan. We have spaces for showing bottles and glasses in both sides of the plan near to the exterior façade so that these spaces could be seen properly from inside and outside of the café. We also considered limited seats on the inside. There is hidden light all around the ceiling so it seems that the interior has a more height than it has already and also it seems that the ceiling is suspended.
Main façade of the project is a wall combined of concrete, wood and glass. Entrance door is placed in its original position and the main window is Recognizable in the glassy part of the wall (placed in its original position too). Having an elegant simple design and Continuity of visual vision are the two important aspect of this wall.
The sunshade is a steel wooden fabric structure that can be both open and closed. It consists of three parts. One part provides shadow from wooden strips and the other two provides it with fabric. The organization of sunshade is in a way that the wooden part defines and enhance motion axis over the entrance door and the fabric parts define a space for tranquility and sitting in the main terrace.
