Il progetto cerca di mantenere la morfologia esistente implementando le aree esterne ed una maggiore ampiezza degli ambienti interni, con locali che rispettino i limiti di metratura e illuminazione.
Si è inizialmente valutata la fattibilità secondo le indicazioni del PRG comunale, ritenendo di poter rientrare nella casistica della ristrutturazione, anche con eventuale demolizione totale e ricostruzione mantenendo il sedime esistente.
A livello tecnico e strutturale andrà fatta una valutazione dettagliata poichè si riesca a programmare l'intervento in modo che rispetti anche l'efficientamento energetico che permetterà l'ampliamento volumetrico dell'edificio, sempre secondo le indicazioni del PRG.
Gli ambienti pensati ricalcano le richieste del cliente, sfruttando ciò che già è presente nel piccolo cottage, mantenendo dove possibile le aperture esistenti e ripristinandone la scansione sui fronti esterni quando la muratura deve subire necessariamente modifiche.
Il piano terra, in seguito ad un'adeguato drenaggio e areazione del piano di calpestio, può accogliere la zona giorno, con area relax, angolo cottura e piccola scrivania che sfrutta anche il sottoscala. Comunicante resta il bagno di servizio che mantenendo le murature esistenti si divide in antibagno con lavabo, servizio con wc e bidet e spazio lavanderia in cui è presente una doccia.
Il primo piano invece si amplia oltre l'attuale veranda chiusa fino alla posizione della scala per avere tre camere ampie ed il bagno, che si mantiene vicino al precedente servizio per poter sfruttare i passaggi verticali di acqua e scarichi senza creare ulteriori interventi sugli elementi portanti.
L'idea di utilizzo dell'abitazione diventa quella di un comodo giardino con spazi coperti attrezzati per pranzi, pomeriggi di relax e cene con ospiti, avendo però tutto lo spazio intimo per ciascun componente della famiglia, che potrà quindi personalizzare la propria stanza ed adibirla alle proprie passioni/necessità.
Le finiture ricalcano questa possibilità di personalizzazione, lasciando neutri i pavimenti e i rivestimenti, utilizzando delle piastrelle ad effetto cemento tendenzialmente chiare per aumentare la luminosità data dalla luce naturale entrante e parquet in legno di rovere solo nelle stanze da letto.
Le pareti, dal momento che dovranno comunque implementare la propria coibentazione per rientrare nei parametri di efficientamento energetico, sono intonacate e permettono di avere le cromie differenti nei diversi ambienti del primo piano o parti rivestite, per esempio in legno riprendendo lo stile precedente.

Si consiglia prima di procedere con i progetti esecutivi e i lavori ad un controllo catastale ed eventuale sanatoria.

The project tries to maintain the existing morphology by implementing the external areas and greater rooms, by the respect of the square footage and lighting limits.
It was evaluated the feasibility on the indications of the municipal PRG, including the work in the case of the renovation, even with total demolition and reconstruction maintaining the existing grounds.
A detailed evaluation of technical and structural feasibility will have to be carried out to program the intervention because also respects the energy efficiency that will allow the volumetric expansion of the building, always according to PRG.
The rooms designed reflect the customer's requests, exploiting what is already present in the small cottage, keeping the existing openings where possible and restoring the scanning on the external fronts when the walls must have modifications.
The ground floor can accommodate the living area, with relax area, kitchen and small desk in the basement, following a drainage and ventilation of the floor. The service bathroom is communicating which is divided into anteroom with sink, toilet, laundry area whit a shower.
The first floor extends beyond the current veranda to the position of the staircase to have three large bedrooms and the bathroom, which remains close to the previous service in order to exploit the vertical passages of water and drains without creating further interventions on the load-bearing elements .
The idea of ​​using the house becomes that of a comfortable garden with covered spaces equipped for lunches, relaxing afternoons and dinners with guests, but having all the intimate space for each member of the family, who can personalize its room and use it to its passions / needs.
The finishes follow this possibility of customization, leaving the floors and walls neutral, using light cement-effect tiles to increase the brightness by the incoming natural light and oak parquet only in the bedrooms.
The walls will have to implement their own insulation to fit within the parameters of energy efficiency and are plastered and allow to have the different colors in the rooms of the first floor or covered parts, for example in wood, taking up the previous style.
