Description

HOLA! Our proposal to turn this laboratory located in Milan into a 2-bedroom apartment is based on the rational use of space.
The objective is to convert the living room into the main space of the house, and in the future, this can also accommodate an extra bedroom, for guests or in a home office.
With these requirements, we decided to design multifunctional furniture. That they can be hidden, expanded, and moved easily. So this space can be redefined according to the needs of its users, without having to initiate renovation work.
The kitchen is open to the living room, in the line of the bathroom, generating simple installations. The same furniture can hide it, using sliding doors as a filter, in wood and polycarbonate, which make them light and easy to move. The TV furniture hides the queen size bed in the second room. The panels that are used to separate this room from the living room, can also convert this space into a home office, in case you need to work from home in a more private area.
The entrance corridor will be the storage space, which will allow you to hide the mobile panels, bike racks, wardrobes, and library where you can place design objects and books. The main room is located at the end of the apartment, with natural lighting, a king-size bed, and a wardrobe.
The bathroom, although it has no natural light, is spacious, light-colored, and functional. The doors are high with fixed panels at the top, which can have glass or polycarbonate to provide natural light from the living room into the spaces.
Our proposal for the floor will be the combination of wood parquet and hydraulic tiles, giving warmth and luminosity to your home.
