I have designed four different layout options based on your requirements.
In Design No. 1, according to your request, I removed the bedroom of Unit 2 and instead designed a large open kitchen facing the living room on the south side for you. You have two bedrooms and one bathroom in Unit 1, and I made changes in Unit 2 by adding a small bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen separate from the living area, and a living room.
On the second floor, according to your request, one bathroom was added for Unit 2.
In Design No. 2, I made Unit 2 smaller and placed a small kitchen, a small bathroom, and a living area in it, and I made Unit 1 larger. Here, you have a very large kitchen and a large living room on the south side, along with two bedrooms and one bathroom.
In Design No. 3, I kept Unit 2 small, but in Unit 1, instead of a kitchen, I added a small study room and a bathroom, and next to it, you have a large open kitchen facing the living room on the south side, along with two bedrooms and two bathrooms in this unit.
In Design No. 4, the entire Unit 2 was merged into Unit 1. You have a very large living room and a very large kitchen on the south side along with a balcony, one bathroom and one guest room on the south side, and two large bedrooms with walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms.
