Description

Hello,

Our main intention and concept is to simplify the space and make it more logical and practical for every day use. Considering every position of the existing rooms, we decided to keep bathroom block where it is, and to move kitchen and make it integral part to the living room, but close to the waste water pipe. There is not much space for kitchen island, so we tried to widen kitchen as much as possible, in order to have the most functionality and space out of it. Also we decided to keep dining where it is, because of the sloped ceiling and lower height, but bellow skylight which gives it that necessary elegance.

We wanted to create small hallway to separate entrance, day area, night area and common bathroom. From the entrance you can easily enter day are which is consisted of one great sofa (we believe that is better than two separate sofas) which can accommodate 8 sitting or 3-4 sleeping persons.

The bathroom is much the same, what we did is installation wall which can be useful for hiding pipes and the top of it can be used as a shelf. Washing machine we separated in the hallway to make more space and elegance in the bathroom.

We believe that ceiling height cannot support mezzanine level, so we decided to introduce one smaller bedroom with bunk bed, it can accommodate two. Our suggestion is to consider having new skylight in this room instead of wall window which will be too small. It has exit on the balcony as the other, bigger room has.

The other bedroom is in the same position as it was, and the layout i s pretty much the same. We also tried to keep the working area below the window. This room also accommodates two. And in total it accommodates 7-8 persons.

Best regards,
and thank you so much for your time.
