Description

Dear Client,

Thank you for the opportunity to work on your project. I enjoyed it very much, and I hope you’ll be content with the proposed project.

I’ve read through your brief and informations given in conversations with other designers, and gone through some possible options, and chosen the presented one as the optimal solution for your needs and wishes regarding the space.

Since there is only a few openings on the facade that are not positioned in an ideal way, the floor plan is designed to make use of all the natural light you can get in all spaces and not create a space without a natural source of light. This is why I decided to divide the studio/atelier with translucent panels to gain light in the study/guest room while maintaining privacy, and also leaving the possibility to open it up and create a large space with two desks, sofa and free space for arts.

I'll briefly talk through the rest of the proposal, while most of it visible both from the drawings and the renderings.

Entrance hall

The entrance hall has a large mirror on the side as you enter which gives this space the feeling of openness even tho it's a small space you enter. There is built in storage, both closed and open opposite the entrance door leading into the dining space.

Kitchen

The kitchen is created in two parallel lines with an island in the middle. This part of the kitchen can be closed if preferred in two ways:
- leaving the tall elements and the dining open towards the lounge
- enclosing the kitchen and dining together

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a lot of natural light that enters the dining area and lounge.

Lounge

The lounge area is visually and functionally divided in few smaller spaces: reading and music nook with lounge chairs, tv area and entertaining with sofas and a study by the window.
All the furniture you mentioned is kept (can be seen in the renderings) and the shelving unit with the tv can use some of the pieces of the shelving unite you own.

Study/Atelier/Guest room

As mentioned, decided into few areas giving equal attention to all of them.

Bedrooms

Uses all of your previous furniture with some editions. Master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and access to the laundry area, as well as a walk-in wardrobe. This is to keep all the installations in one area of the apartment.

Bathrooms

Both bathrooms have a walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and large sink area with storage. both bellow the sink and above the toilet.

Hope I've managed to give you all needed information, if you have any further questions and decide to go in this direction feel free to contact me.

Kind regards
