Description

I was driven to fulfill the requirements set by the client in the briefing. The concept is based on making a unique, modern, sleek and pleasant ambience. The colours I used are sleek as well, earthy in tones with metal details. Upon entering the apartment a hall appears, achieved by placing shelves. Further on the space is divided in to two wholes, the kitchen and the living room. The kitchen gained a new, bigger dimension, in height but also in width. Merging the kitchen and the dining room with high seating I achived a bigger space for food preparation, as well as interaction between the ones who are using the space. Fluid and free space allows for an easy passage from the kitchen to the living room. Said living room which position is a little bit different than the original plan. And its has a transformative role, by moving and dismantling the furniture such as the arm chair and the tables we have new and different scenarios. The bathroom as apposed to the rest of the spaces has been done in marbel. It stays fithfull to the minimalist palette that is coursing trough the entire project. Immediately after the bathroom we find the bedroom also done in the same spirit but in it the dominating material is wood. All of these components together form a one of a kind atmosphere and energy that flows trough the whole apartment. The space is envisioned as one that fits the needs of the client but also to have a variety in use. Making it perfect to rent out for just a few nights or even a longer stay, place to fully live in.
