The proposed design successfully organizes your outdoor area into functional, modern, and aesthetically pleasing zones, tailored to suit a family of four children, including two younger children, ensuring both usability and safety.


Zoning & Layout: Clear division of spaces including pool area, gazebo (all-season living space), BBQ/dining zone, children’s play area, and vegetable garden. Circulation between zones is logical and efficient.


Pool Area: Well-sized and centrally positioned with adequate lounging and shading elements. Enhanced with a solid boundary wall and controlled access gates to ensure safety and prevent unsupervised access by younger children.


Gazebo: Designed as an enclosed, all-weather structure functioning as a complete outdoor living unit, incorporating a kitchen, dining area, and living space, making it the main hub for daily family life and gatherings.


BBQ & Dining: Integrated effectively with adjacent seating and supported by wood storage placed next to the barbecue. You can maintain the existing dining arrangement near the BBQ, or adopt the alternative layout as shown in the drawing.


Storage Solutions:


Garden/tool storage located near the vegetable garden for convenience.


Woodshed positioned adjacent to the BBQ for practical use.




Family Consideration: Dedicated children’s play area positioned for clear visibility from main seating zones, allowing supervision. The layout ensures safe separation between active play and the pool area, making it suitable for both teenagers and younger children.


Access to Rooftop: A clearly defined external staircase provides direct access from the outdoor space to the rooftop terrace, enhancing usability and connectivity with the annex.


Landscape Elements: Inclusion of raised vegetable beds and soft landscaping enhances usability and visual quality.
