Residential - House
Dear Client,
Thank you for this opportunity and was a pleasure working on your project. This is one of the few projects that I really enjoyed designing regardless. Hope our work is satisfactory and will meet your need.
The concept of the design relies mainly on topography. Moving with the contour lines so as not to disturb the creek path as possible. I tried to maintain the shape of the house and considered the zones as proposed by your side.
In the DWG. Files there are 2 proposals for the Jack and Jill bathroom. One with a shared bathtub as shown in the presentation and the other considers sharing the washing basins and substitute them from the other proposal with showers.
The total Budget for all openings [doors and windows] is estimated to be in between 50k – 60k depending on the material whether aluminum or uPVC in-addition to the quality. The budget does not consider discounts which should lower the budget significantly. This estimation is considered for around 30 items for openings, still far less than Anderson considering the same number of items needed for the openings.
I tried to emphasize in the design as possible, the chimney and openings as noted in the inspiration photos. Even designing a feature window on the front side of the house where the office lies.
As for privacy, the design of the house is suited well in the site for minimal exposure. We carefully chose the places of openings to further secure the privacy requirement. We maintained less openings on the eastern side of the house. Only one of the guest’s bedrooms relies heavily on this part for light and ventilation. There is a large redbud tree to be planted in front of this side to further maintain privacy on this side. As for the western side, Natural habitat trees that are placed all the way around the creek will provide shade and privacy for the house.
Hope I have provided a good design that will make you satisfied and met all the possible requirements that you need for retreat house. If there are any suggestions, details, modifications or inquiries. please let us know and feel free to reach out.
Best Regards,
