Description

Dear Client,
My main goal in this project was to create comfortable and functional home for a big family with three kids. The most important thing in achieving this goal was creating a big living area that consists of the big living room, dining area and large kitchen. Kitchen also contains an island with breakfast area. This unique space does not have any partitions in order to provide space that can welcome big family getherings, but also to be comfortable for everyday use. The idea is to keep the family together most of the time :)
My only doubt about space distribution was laundary room. My solution is not to change it's position, but it can also be put inside the kitchen cabinets, since the kitchen is very large and can obtain also a washing and drying machine (one on top of the other).
Four bedrooms are also spacious enough for every member to have his own privacy. There is one big bathroom for parents and two smaller for the kids: two boys share one bathroom, and the girl's bathroom is also intended as a guest bathroom, since it is nearest to the living area.
The furniture in the living area is sugested on the furniture plan, but it can also be custom made, which is more unique, and adjustable to specific needs of the family. The wall on the "right" has a wall-mounted "library" with closed elements. This wall also welcomes the "fire palce" which can be traditional one, but also a modern variant-with etanol fuel ( cleaner, safer, simpler to maintain...). The other wall contains also wall-mounted elements that can be custom made (in MDF with wood or painted finish), but more simpler and not as "useful" as big library part. It is there to complete the "modern" look of the room. Under them is the element which you already own (longitudinal white with drawers...)
The main "star" of the living area is the "Mah Jong" sofa, which is very cheerful and fun looking to which I added two more seatings-of the same brand, but not neseserly. They can be any other brand which complements the sofa in colour and shape. The reason for adding twoo more sitting elements is to create more welcoming atmosphere for comfortable familly time-together.
The modern touch of the enterior is achieved by quality and modern furniture, lighting fixtures and finishings, but the traditional vibe of the home can be seen in suspended ceiling with mouldings and in baseboard which are both profilated in "traditional" way.
I hope my design meets your family needs and vision of your future home.
Best regards!
