We are building our first real family home and are looking for a project that can turn our dreams into a welcoming, functional and well-organized space. With our first child on the way, we envision a warm and comfortable environment that will grow with us. We are inviting architects and interior designers to propose creative and practical ideas to enhance our new house, guide us in choosing the right furniture, and make each room feel special. Floor plans and detailed information are provided to help you imagine with us what our future daily life could be.
We are a couple in our 40s, expecting our first child in about six months. We have recently purchased a 260 sqm house (200 sqm net), spread over four floors, built about ten years ago, and only partially furnished. Our goal is to transform it into our ideal home through this design competition.
We will attach detailed floor plans to make your work easier.
What we are looking for in this project
A warm, functional, tidy and welcoming space
Rooms that adapt to our lifestyle and grow with our family
A consistent design that is easy to clean and not overcrowded
Smart use of space with possible small structural improvements
Ideas that integrate existing furniture (attached below) and limit unnecessary spending
Interior design details such as carpets, paintings, other accessories.
Our needs, floor by floor
Ground floor – Living area
The kitchen and living room are currently separated by a wall and a door. We'd like to remove the door to open up the space.
Ideally, we’d like to keep as much of the current kitchen furniture as possible to reduce costs and waste.
If the wall is to be modified, we need to consider proper structural reinforcement (e.g., metal beams).
The living room should stay harmonious and organized, while also including a children’s play corner: subtle, integrated or transformable.
The space should have good acoustics for listening to music and enjoying time with guests.
Baby's Room – Second floor
This is the smallest room, with a custom wardrobe along the entire left wall (as you enter).
We would like:
functional and safe furniture,
easy-to-clean surfaces,
a comfortable setup for both the child and the caregiver (e.g., for feeding or relaxing).
Other Bedrooms – Second floor
The other two bedrooms each have a custom built-in wardrobe placed behind the entry door, 60 cm deep and full-height.
These elements should be considered in the layout and furniture proposal.
Main Bedroom – Second floor (19 sqm)
In the en-suite bathroom we would like to add a bidet and a heated towel rail next to the shower.
Top Floor – Attic
This is an open space with sloped ceilings, a beautiful south-facing terrace, and a bathroom with both a bathtub and shower.
We want to make this a multi-functional room:
Home office
Guest bedroom (with a bed or convertible solution)
Home gym for light exercise or bodyweight workouts
Attic bathroom
We would like to add a bidet opposite the toilet, in front of the window.
Laundry Room – Ground floor (between garage and cellar)
We need a fully equipped laundry/utility room with:
Washing machine and dryer
Semi-professional LauraStar ironing table
Storage for vacuum, steam mop, mops and all cleaning tools
Cabinet or shelves for detergents and household products
Durable, functional and easy-to-clean surfaces and layout
Garage – Car charging
For now, we are fine with a secure, well-installed outdoor socket, suitable for sustained electric loads. We will attach an example from a colleague’s home.

Estamos construyendo nuestro primer hogar familiar y buscamos un proyecto que sepa convertir nuestros sueños en un espacio acogedor, funcional y bien organizado. Con nuestro primer hijo en camino, deseamos un entorno cálido y cómodo que pueda crecer con nosotros. Invitamos a arquitectos e interioristas a proponer ideas creativas y prácticas para mejorar nuestra nueva casa, ayudarnos a elegir el mobiliario adecuado y hacer que cada habitación se sienta especial. Proporcionamos planos detallados e información útil para que podáis imaginar con nosotros cómo será nuestro día a día en este nuevo espacio.
Somos una pareja de 40 años y esperamos a nuestro primer hijo en aproximadamente seis meses. Acabamos de comprar una casa de unos 260 m² (200 m² útiles), distribuida en cuatro plantas, construida hace diez años y parcialmente amueblada. Nuestro objetivo es transformarla en nuestro hogar ideal a través de este concurso de ideas.
Adjuntaremos los planos detallados de la vivienda para facilitar el trabajo.
Qué buscamos en el proyecto
Un hogar cálido, funcional, ordenado y acogedor
Espacios adaptables a la vida familiar y al crecimiento del niño
Diseño coherente, fácil de limpiar y sin exceso de objetos
Mejora del uso del espacio con posibles intervenciones estructurales pequeñas
Aprovechamiento de los muebles existentes y control de costes
Nuestras necesidades, planta por planta
Planta baja – Zona de día
Cocina y salón actualmente separados por una pared y una puerta. Queremos eliminar la puerta para conectar mejor los espacios.
Deseamos mantener la mayor parte del mobiliario de cocina actual para evitar gastos innecesarios.
Si se modifica la pared, será necesario considerar refuerzos estructurales adecuados (vigas metálicas, etc.).
El salón debe ser ordenado y acogedor, e incluir un rincón de juegos para el niño, que sea discreto, transformable o bien integrado.
Deseamos una buena acústica para escuchar música y disfrutar con amigos.
Habitación del bebé – Segunda planta
Es la más pequeña y tiene un armario empotrado a medida que ocupa toda la pared izquierda al entrar.
Buscamos propuestas con:
mobiliario funcional y seguro,
superficies fáciles de limpiar,
comodidad para el bebé y también para los padres o cuidadores.
Otras habitaciones – Segunda planta
Las otras dos habitaciones también cuentan con armarios empotrados detrás de la puerta, de 60 cm de fondo y a toda altura.
Este detalle debe tenerse en cuenta en el diseño del mobiliario.
Dormitorio principal – Segunda planta (19 m²)
Queremos añadir un bidé y un radiador toallero en el baño de la habitación.
Buhardilla – Última planta
Espacio único con techo inclinado, terraza orientada al sur y baño con bañera y ducha.
Deseamos convertirlo en un espacio multifuncional:

Zona de ejercicio para entrenamientos suaves
Baño en la buhardilla
Queremos añadir un bidé frente a la ventana, en el lado opuesto al inodoro.
Lavadero – Planta baja (entre garaje y sótano)
Queremos una zona de lavandería completa, con:

Tabla de planchar LauraStar semi-profesional
Espacio para escobas, mopas, productos de limpieza y equipos como vaporetas
Soluciones resistentes, prácticas y fáciles de limpiar
Garaje – Carga del coche
Por ahora es suficiente con un enchufe exterior seguro, bien instalado y preparado para soportar carga eléctrica prolongada. Adjuntaremos un ejemplo real de instalación.

Stiamo costruendo la nostra prima vera casa di famiglia e siamo alla ricerca di un progetto che sappia tradurre i nostri sogni in spazi reali, accoglienti e ben organizzati. Con l’arrivo del nostro primo figlio, desideriamo un ambiente funzionale, ordinato e confortevole, in grado di crescere con noi. Cerchiamo architetti e designer capaci di proporre soluzioni creative e pratiche, che valorizzino la nostra nuova casa, ci aiutino a scegliere l’arredo giusto e rendano ogni spazio unico e ben vissuto. Vi forniamo planimetrie e tutte le informazioni necessarie per immaginare con noi il nostro futuro quotidiano.
Siamo una coppia di 40 anni e stiamo per diventare genitori per la prima volta tra circa sei mesi. Abbiamo appena acquistato una casa di circa 260 mq su quattro livelli (200 mq commerciali), costruita dieci anni fa e solo parzialmente arredata. Il nostro obiettivo è trasformarla nella nostra casa ideale attraverso questo concorso di idee, aperto ad architetti e interior designer.
Allegheremo le planimetrie dettagliate per facilitare il lavoro progettuale.
Cosa cerchiamo nel progetto
Un ambiente caldo, ordinato, funzionale e accogliente.
Spazi ottimizzati per la vita quotidiana, che crescano con la famiglia.
Un arredamento coerente, facile da pulire, di qualità e senza eccessi.
Idee per migliorare l’uso degli spazi, con piccoli interventi architettonici se utili.
Soluzioni pratiche che valorizzino anche i mobili esistenti.
Le nostre esigenze, piano per piano
Zona giorno (piano terra)
Cucina e soggiorno attualmente divisi da una parete attrezzata e una porta: vorremmo rimuovere la porta per favorire una maggiore apertura tra gli spazi.
Idealmente, vorremmo conservare la maggior parte dei mobili cucina attuali per contenere i costi e ridurre l’impatto ambientale.
L’eventuale rimozione di pareti dovrà essere valutata con attenzione per la necessaria messa in sicurezza tramite putrelle o rinforzi.
Il soggiorno deve mantenere ordine e armonia, ma ospitare anche un angolo gioco per il bambino: integrato, trasformabile, o comunque discreto.
È importante prevedere uno spazio con buona acustica, adatto all’ascolto musicale e ai momenti conviviali.
Cameretta del bambino (secondo piano)
È la stanza più piccola del piano, con un grande armadio su misura sulla parete sinistra (entrando).
Desideriamo idee per un arredamento:
funzionale e sicuro,
facile da pulire,
comodo anche per chi assiste il bambino nei momenti di relax o cura.
Altre camere al secondo piano
Anche le altre due camere sul piano hanno armadi su misura collocati dietro la porta d’ingresso: profondi 60 cm e alti fino al soffitto.
Questo elemento può essere sfruttato per pensare a soluzioni di arredo contenute e integrate.
Camera padronale (secondo piano, 19 mq)
Richiesta: installazione di bidet e scaldasalviette nel bagno adiacente.
Mansarda (ultimo piano)
Spazio unico con tetto spiovente su entrambi i lati, terrazza esposta a sud, bagno con vasca e doccia.
Vorremmo creare una stanza multifunzione, che possa essere:
uno studio,
una camera per ospiti,
una palestra domestica per esercizi leggeri e corpo libero.
Il design dovrebbe essere flessibile ma elegante.
Bagno in mansarda
Attualmente privo di bidet. Desideriamo aggiungerne uno, di fronte alla finestra, sul lato opposto al WC.
Lavanderia attrezzata (piano terra, tra garage e cantine)
Richiesta una progettazione completa per una lavanderia ben organizzata, con:
Lavatrice e asciugatrice
Tavolo da stiro LauraStar semi-professionale
Spazio per scope, stracci, vaporella, detersivi e prodotti per la pulizia
Soluzioni pratiche e resistenti per organizzazione, ventilazione e pulizia
Garage – ricarica auto
Per ora è sufficiente una presa da esterni, ben cablata e sicura, adatta a carichi elettrici prolungati. Allegheremo un esempio di installazione già realizzata.
