Briefing

We love the Classic-Modern style with its calm and bright tones. We are a family of two adults and two children. We therefore need a double bedroom and two single bedrooms, two bathrooms. The kitchen, which we live a lot because we love to cook, we think it is integrated in the large living room but with the possibility to close it if necessary. It would be great to have a walk-in wardrobe near the entrance where you can leave your jackets, shoes and bags when you get home to keep order. We would like to obtain a small study/guest room of about 15 sqm through the use of a bioclimatic greenhouse on the terrace. The internal surface area is not very large, in fact it is compensated by a large terrace of 120 square metres that runs around the house. In the narrow part of the terrace there is a 70's style veil that covers the external part of the corridor (see satellite photo). The flat is located on the top floor (penthouse) of a building of 6 floors above ground, in a quiet street of Rome in the middle of other buildings. It would therefore be necessary to somehow raise the external parapets to create intimacy. There are no landscape or archaeological constraints, so we would like to enlarge the openings towards the terrace. Since there is no cellar, it is important to use the height of the house with mezzanines.

Amiamo lo stile Classico-Moderno dai toni pacati e luminosi. Siamo una famiglia di due adulti e due bambini. Abbiamo pertanto necessità di una camera da letto matrimoniale e due camere da letto singole, due bagni. La cucina, che viviamo molto perché amiamo cucinare, la pensiamo integrata nell'ampio salone ma con la possibilità di chiuderla se necessario. Sarebbe fantastico riuscire ad ottenere una cabina armadio vicino all'ingresso dove lasciare le giacche, le scarpe e le borse appena arrivati a casa per mantenere l'ordine. Vorremmo ottenere una piccola stanza studio/ospiti di circa 15 mq attraverso l’utilizzo di una serra bioclimatica sul terrazzo. La metratura interna non elevatissima infatti è compensata da un ampio terrazzo di 120 mq che gira intorno la casa. Nella parte stretta del terrazzo c’è una veletta stile anni ’70 che copre la parte esterna del corridoio (vedi foto satellite). L'appartamento si trova all'ultimo piano (attico) di una palazzina di 6 piani fuori terra, in una via tranquilla di Roma nel mezzo di altre palazzine. Sarebbe quindi necessario alzare in qualche modo i parapetti esterni per creare intimità. Non ci sono vincoli paesaggistici né archeologici, quindi vorremmo ingrandire le aperture verso il terrazzo. Non avendo cantina di pertinenza è importante sfruttare l'altezza della casa con dei soppalchi.
