✨Design Challenge: Transform a Functional Office into a Smart, Human-Centered Space✨
We’re looking for creative layout proposals that blend functionality, comfort, and flexibility within an existing structure. This office will host a small but dynamic team and must support both focused work and collaborative energy, all while respecting a few key constraints.
We're excited to see how you can bring this multifunctional, modern workspace to life—where every square meter works hard, feels good, and supports the people inside it. The design should prioritize efficiency, acoustic comfort, natural light, and a seamless integration of individual and shared zones, without altering the existing walls.
This is your chance to shape a space where people actually enjoy working—smart, adaptable, and designed for the way we work today.
👥 Staff & Workspaces
- Reception area: For 1 admin assistant + 2 drivers (small desk space). This is the only acceptable open-space zone.
- Closed or semi-closed offices (soundproofing is key!) for:
-- Administration: 2 people
-- Support (RSC): 2 people
-- Operations: 7 people (max. 2 per office)
-- Manager: 1 person (private office)
-- Assistant (to manager or ops – position tbc): 1 desk
-Hot Desks: At least 2 – these can be integrated creatively (along walls, in shared offices, etc.)
🏢 Meeting & Functional Rooms
- 2 Meeting rooms: 1 large (18–20 people); 1 small (8–10 people); Ideally adjacent with a sliding wall to create a flexible larger space
- Waiting area
- Server room (small)
- Storage
🤝 Shared & Well-being Spaces
- Fully equipped kitchen (existing)
- 2 restrooms (existing)
- Shower
- Reset/relaxation corner
- Casual eating area
- Informal collaboration zone
💡 Bonus Features (we’d love to include if space allows!)
- Quiet room for video calls or focused work
- Photo walls / exhibition space for team identity & visual storytelling
- Possibility for one room (e.g. small meeting room or hybrid) to convert into a mini-apartment for business continuity
- Washing machine tucked away smartly
🔧 Design Constraints & Musts
- Do not alter existing walls – work within the current structure
- Internal partitions should allow natural light to flow (glass + solid wall combos encouraged)
- Acoustic insulation is non-negotiable
