New palace is designed to be nearly zero energy building with the use of PV cells, considering the current situation in Europe, in parallel with the aesthetic and standardized aspects; the large welcoming interior spaces and the connection between the indoor and the outdoor even in the typical floors. Thanks to the daylight analysis calculating window sizing to insure that the main spaces are all well lit. Also the walls, floors, roof and window U-Value are specified in order to know the total energy, cost and CO2 emission. I prefer wooden walls as an environmental friendly with U-Value 0.18W/m2K and 24cm thickness. For the interior, the general mood is contemporary light style, and for the exterior, the use of wood and concrete were the main elements.
