Description

Hi there,

As you can well see I have gone way beyond the project's requirements. I have done this because I enjoyed the work so much that I let myself carried away.
I am quite sure that you can understand my every intention but, nevertheless, I will try to explain it to you briefly.

I began by drawing very specific zones. As you ca very well see, the interior as well as the exterior are divided into 3 main areas.

A) The interior: 1) entrance and storage area
2) main area - containing the toilet room, the double shower and the double sink - in order to make it more appealing I decided to lower the ceiling and to change the materials used; therefore this area is consisted mainly in wood and tiles for the walls whereas the finishes of the other zones are completely different.
3. bathtub area

B) The interior garden: 1) exterior shower
2) main garden - the one that best serves the bathtub area and the shower one
3) the back 'yard' - a zone that protects this piece of heaven from the back garden

I tried to use as few materials as possible for the finishes. Therefore you will find that the floors are a mixture of mosaic tiles and wood (for the shower area) all held together by a thin layer of white gravel. The walls are mainly painted in waterproof white paint with very few touches of the same tile as the floors. The only area treated with a different kind of finish is the main area, as I have already told you.
In order to make the interior and the exterior as a whole I used very large sliding doors and windows. Also I tried to tie together the two spaces by continuing the gravel layer on the outside. The exterior of the whole new construction as well as the existing 2 meters property wall are plaque with semi-natural stone.

The only inconvenient was the fact that I do not live in South Africa and therefore I cannot give you an estimated cost. I could have 'lied' to you and just add some figures but I would have surely been out of range. Anyway, the amount of quantities I gave you should be enough for a construction worker to give you a precise estimate in no-time. I tried my best to develop a medium price idea, therefore I apologies in advanced if the furniture I picked for you are a bit pricey. Again, I have no idea what a medium cost for a toilet would be there.

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck in finding the concept that best suits your interests and, in case you consider that this one is it, I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Călin ALEXANDRESCU
