Il progetto mira alla creazione di uno spazio ordinato e funzionale, oltre che accogliente, attraverso l’individuazione di tre aree funzionali in continuità l’una con l’altra: l’area cabina armadio, l’area studio e l’area riposo.
Per la prima area si è partiti dalla nicchia esistente realizzando un’armadiatura ad angolo, più capiente e funzionale, e che grazie alle ante con apertura a pacchetto possa aprirsi completamente senza ingombrare la stanza. La composizione della cabina armadio è modulare e può essere personalizzata dal cliente. Le stesse ante, proposte nel colore bianco, possono essere personalizzate anche con colorazioni differenti le une dalle altre.
L’area studio è posizionata lungo la parete sinistra della camera in modo che risultasse in continuità con la cabina armadio. Continuità sottolineata anche dagli stessi materiali. In quest’area vi trovano posto la scrivania e la libreria pensile. Un mobile basso è stato inoltre posto alla base della finestra, il quale può essere utilizzato sia come ripiano ausiliario della scrivania oppure, con dei cuscini, come divanetto. Nel progetto è proposto chiuso, ma nel caso si preferisse lasciare più libero il termosifone, può essere una semplice mensola.
Infine l’area riposo, con il letto posizionato sul lato destro della camera ed il ripiano sottofinestra con funzione di comodino. Per il letto è stato scelto il modello “Nathalie” di Flou di Vico Magistretti, un classico del design italiano.
Considerata la poca luminosità della camera, per i mobili sono stati scelti legni chiari, larice o rovere, con ante e cassetti bianchi. Anche per le pareti si suggerisce di lasciarle bianche, mentre un colore leggermente più scuro del soffitto può dare la sensazione di una maggiore ampiezza del locale.
Le luci: una lampada principale a sospensione, considerata la notevole altezza della camera, e due lampade da tavolo per la scrivania e il letto.
The project aims to the creation of a neat and functional space, as well as comfortable, through the recognition of three functional areas in continuity with each other: the wardrobe corner, the studio area and the relax area.
Concerning to the first area it started with the existing recess recreated in a wardrobe corner, more spacious and practical, provided now with folding doors thanks to whom a complete opening will not encumber the room. The composition of the walk-in closet is modular and can be customized according to the client’s requirements. Doors themselves, suggested in white colour, can be even customized with a different colouring one from each other.
The studio area is located along the left wall in order to result in continuity with the wardrobe. Continuity that is also highlighted by the use of same materials. In this area there is a desktop and a hanging bookcase. A low furniture has been moreover placed at the bottom of the window, and can be used whether as a supporting shelf for the desktop or, with the use of pillows, as a couch. This furniture is here presented as closed, but if just in case a more free radiator is preferred then it could be just a basic shelf.
Then the relax area, with the bed located along the right side of the room and the shelf near the window with nightstand function. As a bed has been chosen the “Nathalie” Flou model by Vico Magistretti, a classic of Italian design.
Given the lack of brightness in the room, furniture is thought to be made from light wood, larch or oak, with white doors and drawers. Walls are also highly recommended to be white, whereas with a slightly darker colour of the ceiling it might get the impression of a bigger size of the space.
About lighting: given the remarkable height of the room a main suspension lamp, and two table lamps for the desktop and the bed.
