The project concerns the restructuring of an existing apartment of about 85 mq, and relative furniture proposal. It’s driven by the desire to make the most of available available surface and avoid wasting spaces for corridors or access areas too large, thinking also to the sun exposure and to the best views that the property offers.

The apartment is divided longitudinally in two parts by a structural wall. Moving and reorganizing to the partition walls, we decided to insert the service section (bathrooms, washer-dryer, pantry) in the disadvantaged middle for the sun exposure and the view.
So, in the North side we decided to place the dining area, at the entrance to the apartment, to give the opportunity to enjoy the living room in the South. The lunch room is also thought to be, eventually, the guess room, thanks to the extendable sofa proposed. So, it’s possibile to completely isolate the room, not "locking" the living room and kitchen.
From the entrance, through a small hallway, there is the Day Zone, designed without separators fixtures. So the living room, accessible from the kitchen through the empty opening on the existing structural wall that divides them, is almost square, and has a wall equipped with a modular cabinet also for the television; opposite to it, there is the socialization area, consisting of a large sofa and two chairs facing; the other “blind” wall has two low furniture that complete the room furniture.
From the living room, Through a hallway, it’s possible to access the Night Area, located in the West and South-West: The master bedroom is the smaller of the two, and equipped with a double bed and a wardrobe hidden behind two large sliding doors, positioned on the blank wall opposite the bed. The room is also equipped with a dedicated bathroom, that has a counter with sink, toilet, bidet and large shower.
The second bedroom, for children, has an area of over 14 mq and is designed to eventually accommodate two single beds; the south side of the room, the one with the window with the best view, there are the two beds, while at the other window there is a desk, and in the blind wall mobile wardrobe with drawers.
From the hallway you can also access the main bathroom, with the same equipment than the patron one, but with a larger shower.

Finishes: for the floor we propose a pre-finished parquet in Oak with a natural antique effect, which, in the opinion of the designers, creates a nice contrast with the lighter or white furnitures. For the bathrooms we recommend a dark gray stone effect porcelain gres, for floors and for walls. Dining and living room have a wall with dark gray paint that contrasts the lighter furnitures. It’s not a problem the choice of the parquet also for the kitchen. We like very much the wood-wood effect that it has with the furniture, and we wanted to keep it: the stoneware surface can safely put on the hidden part of the furniture, not visible.

The proposed furnishings have contemporary and industrial design, and are characterized by a natural material aspect (especially the wood); we proposed the leather for the sofa and the armchairs in the living room, because we think that this choice (even if different from the customer's instructions) enhances the elegance of the space, supported also by the Flos lamp. This does not mean that it’s not possible tu use a light gray cloth for it: the wood finishes make also this alternative good.
