Description

The particular shape of
the apartment marked by its two walls almost completely windowed,
makes the light the key element of this project.
On the ground floor is
the living area: entrance leads directly into a large living room
with study area, large dining area serves as a link with the large
kitchen with peninsula. I created a sort of ante-bathroom / storage
room that regulates space and isolates the service area.
Upstairs, accessed via an
internal staircase at the entrance, there is a large master bedroom
with walk-in closet, a bathroom and the child's room. I planned the
large windows to illuminate the two rooms.
The colors and materials
chosen emphasize the light: white lacquered furniture, light colors
contrasting with gray elements to create a play of light and shade,
and a bold color that characterizes each room. The light enters the
two large glass walls, reflects on the internal surfaces clear and
shiny, and is amplified, due to the large stained-glass windows on
the first floor, it spreads in every room of the house. With the
Venetian blinds will also create play of light and shadows that make
the space dynamic and changing.
The two existing
bathrooms have not been modified to avoid significantly increase the
cost for the construction of the project.
