Description

The internal space distribution is the careful answer to the
several requests. In order to have three bedrooms and a natural aired bath it
is unconvenient to locate all the bedrooms on the north side because the aired
bath on the living side should break the living space (the only window is in
the center of the wall). On the entrance there is the house’s core: the living room
with the fireplace and the kitchen with the dining area. The night side and the service spaces take up a L shape
around the living room. The link between living and night side is through two
access spaces: on the left, the access space leads to the master bedroom with a
walk-in closet, to the storage room and to the bathroom connected to the
laundry room(the washing machine is here). On the right, it leads to the other bedrooms (the one on the
north silent side is bigger and it could be used as a studio) and to the second
bath, easily accessible from the living area. The furniture choise is a second step that could be tackle
with the client if this proposal will be selected. Ideas about materials: the floor of the living room could be
in slabs of polished molten stone, a local material. The walls and the
fireplace could be in white plaster. So grey and white could be matched with coloured
forniture (for istance red, such as the kitchen in references images, or acid
green or light blue). The north side bedroom floor could be in rovere decapè wood,
characterized by a light colour (the north side has not direct radiation so
using dark materials is not advisable) whereas the south side bedroom floor
could be in a warmer basic rovere wood. The bathroom could be in ceramic mosaic.
