Description

The main
idea of the living area is the possibility to keep a continuous relation and view
from the north to the south throughout the space, giving to the person who comes in
from the entrance door the perception of
a larger space, defined in its functions by the integrated furniture. A natural
connection is established between the kitchen and the dining area, but at the
same time the translucent glass doors
allow to separate the cooking area, and a comfortable laundry space
accessible from the kitchen, in communication with the balcony. The sitting
area revolves around the fireplace, integrated in a curving unit which
incorporates the sliding door leading to the study. This room with a reading
area, a writing desk and continuous
bookshelves, depending on its use (public or private), can be used as a part of
the living space or be accessed from the private area of the house, keeping the
sliding door closed. The rational layout of the bedroom area keeps
its privacy and leaves space for a master bedroom with private bathroom, a
walk-in closet, a storage room, a second bedroom. A high translucent glass
window gives light to a second bathroom, which has public access. The general
concept of the free flowing space leaves the possibility to choose how to live
the different areas day by day, through the use of glass, sliding panels and
integrated furniture playing with the light and the views.
