Description

Hello, I'm glad to send you my proposal
for your new house. The main idea is to create a luminous
and flowing space. Since the flat has many windows, I think it's
great to have the chance to walk all around the house in a sort of
circular way (kids love to run in circles!), with the bathrooms
hidden in the middle as an island, and the light reaching every
corner. As you can see in the plans, the other
key point is the kitchen, wich is camouflaged as another wall in the
living room. This way you can have a bigger space for the living when
the kitchen is not in use, and more light also. I've drawn the
kitchen in two different positions in plan options A and B, just in
case you find it more suitable to move the kitchen given the piping
of the building. There are plenty of possibilities for
the bedrooms and the study room. The only thing to keep in mind is to
preserve the windows where they are. Given that, the walls separating
the rooms can be moved to get a bigger bedroom for the kids, a
smaller study, and also a walk-in closet as you recently suggested...
but since the room's facade lenght is what it is, it will not be easy
to have everything at the same time. Play with the options, you can
also mix them if you like A's kitchen but B's rooms, for instance. The bathrooms have all the fixtures you
mentioned. The bigger one is special, because it's behind a glass
pane. You can easily reach it from the living or the main bedroom. If
more privacy is needed, you can use translucent glass or blinds. There is a fireplace too ;-) Good luck with your house!
