Description

This small and lovely two level apartment in the heart of Rome, is designed to provide a pleasant stay for four people during their visit to the city. Due to the many sunny days during the year, bigger part of the apartment are two spacious terraces. A smaller part of the apartment are bedrooms with bathrooms and a kitchen with a small living room and dining room.
LEVEL 1: The room with kitchen and living room can accommodate four people who can prepare food, dine or watch TV at the same time. The furniture in this room is smaller in size with a minimalist design. The existing sofa and cupboard are located in the living (TV) area with the addition of an armchair and a stool. The dining area has a solid wood table with a glass base and four plastic chairs, replicas of Eames Shell Chair. These chairs are also suitable for outdoor use, so they can be taken out on the terrace for a larger number of guests.
The kitchen is small and simple in design. It has a fridge, stove, sink and dishwasher. The positions of the devices and equipment remained the same so that you would not have to change the existing water and electricity installations.
The bedroom is equipped with a double bed with two bedside tables, wardrobes along the entire wall and a chair with a beautifully designed console make-up table.
The terrace on this level has a dining table for 6-8 people near the kitchen balcony door and can be used as outdoor dining area. Two sunbeds for sunbathing and two lounge chairs for relaxing are also located on this area. Plenty of greenery makes the stay on the terrace more pleasant and creates natural shade.
LEVEL 2: The second bedroom on the upper level has a sofa bed with a rocking chair and a TV. This room can also be used as a living room with access to an even larger terrace. The terrace on this level has a wide comfortable outdoor sofa and armchairs for sitting and conversation, in one part and sunbeds for sunbathing and relaxing in the other. The terrace on the upper level is designed as an outdoor living room, with lots of large plants, as well as on the lower terrace.
The materials and color pallet used in the project are natural oak wood, glass, white, black and pastel tones of the furniture. The design is classically modern and minimal.
