IDEA The project’s idea deviates slightly from what were your
requests: moving the existing bathroom it is possible make a living
room with kitchenette so that students can also have a common space, in my
opinion important. So that the apartment will have 4 spacious bedrooms, 2
comfortable bathrooms and an open space with kitchen and a recess for washing
machine (in the closet). Moreover, in this way it is possible to use the apartment
for short term rentals for tourists. MATERIALS For floors, I thought about two different materials:
laminated parquet (much cheaper than the real one, but durable and equally nice
and warm) for the bedrooms and the living room and gray hexagonal tiles (gress)
in the bathrooms. To reduce costs, new flooring can be glued onto existing
ones by providing the demolitions only for the pipes passage. The plaster walls have been coated by a gray ceramic tiles
in the bathrooms (m 1.00 height maybe just on the sink wall and m 2.00 height
in the shower) and white in the kitchen. COLORS On a white background are used just primary colors. Every
room in the house has its own color depending on its function. Gray for the two
bathrooms and alternating yellow blue and red the other rooms.
