Project description

Design Brief – Interior Design

Residential Project – Sophisticated Contemporary Style

1. General Concept:
The interior design of this residential project follows a sophisticated contemporary aesthetic, characterized by clean lines, a neutral color palette with contrasting accents, and warm yet restrained materiality. The goal is to create a harmonious, elegant, and functional atmosphere by visually and conceptually integrating social and private spaces.

2. Spatial Layout:
The project is organized into three main functional areas: the social zone (living room, dining room, and integrated kitchen), the private zone (master bedroom), and circulation areas. Each space has been optimized to maintain visual continuity and smooth spatial flow.

3. Social Area:

Living Room:
A bright, open space featuring neutral-toned furniture with clean lines. A white sofa acts as a focal point. A linear bioethanol fireplace serves as a visual divider between the living and dining areas while maintaining spatial permeability.

Dining Room:
A rectangular table with a light surface is paired with upholstered neutral-tone chairs. A geometric mural in shades of petrol green, gray, and white adds visual dynamism and serves as a standout accent wall. A minimalist black pendant light completes the design.

Kitchen:
Designed with an open-concept layout, the kitchen features matte white upper and lower cabinetry with black accents. A central island doubles as a breakfast bar and workspace, highlighted by suspended linear lighting. High-quality finishes are used to ensure easy maintenance and a refined appearance.

4. Master Bedroom:
The bedroom continues the design language of the rest of the project, incorporating a geometric mural as a headboard and main decorative feature. The palette includes cool tones (blue, gray, petrol green) contrasting with the warmth of light wood flooring. Built-in furniture maximizes storage while keeping the room visually light. Indirect lighting enhances textures and creates a calm, relaxing atmosphere.
