Residential - Apartment
Dear client,
this project features remodeling of your apartment following given guidelines.
Since the apartment lacked a defined entrance hall, I designed a custom piece of furniture to subtly divide the entryway from the living area. This multifunctional unit serves as a wardrobe for coats and shoes, while also incorporating a console drawer for everyday essentials. It creates a sense of spatial separation without the need for walls, maintaining an open and airy feel.
Kitchen remains in its original location due to practical infrastructure constraints. Relocating it to the storage area was considered, but ultimately ruled out, as it would have required extensive rerouting of sewage and water supply lines — a move that would have been both technically challenging and cost-prohibitive. Wall between kitchen and living room should be demolished, forming larger open space. Choosing white toned elements and light wood counter for kitchen fronts helps to blend it nicely into the rest of room. Kitchen is without upper elements, only with couple of shelves.
Although the kitchen remained in its original location due to plumbing constraints, the storage room was adapted to accommodate a washer and dryer. Since you mentioned that you do not need a lot of storage space, storage can be remodeled (sized down, as shown in drawings) to create space for dining table with four chairs. Walls in this area and in corridor are colored in brown shades so that the brown doors in corridor would not stand out so much.
Living room area features a classic furniture layout - large sofa and couple of armchairs, round coffee table and modern tv wall.
In the bathroom old shower is replaced with walk in glass shower dim 70x140cm (Parete doccia Walk-In in cristallo 8mm due lati trasparente - non disponibile Misura: 70 x 140 xh195)
Spacious balcony is equipped with seating set and some greenery.
The selection of colors, furniture, wall, and floor finishes was guided by your references and the goal of creating a modern yet cozy atmosphere.
A balanced palette, combined with warm textures and clean-lined furnishings, brings a sense of comfort and sophistication to the space, making it both stylish and inviting.
Best regards!
