Description

The main concept is two create spaces without adding walls, losing natural light or loosing comfort. The main characteristic is a partition that seperates space but doen't cut light - a see through layer (see images and drawings) - that gives character, privacy and organizes the space. So we have the public space (kitchen - dinning - living room) and the more private space which is the bedroom & wardrobe.

Kitchen is already installed so we just add 2 cupboards left and right of the garage door. The one close to the kitchen counter is the pantry and space to store plates, glasses etc. The other is the cupboard for the fridge - so that it doesn't stand out next to the furniture of the tv and the living room. (There is no better place for the fridge, since the fun coil on the other side can't be close to it). The dinner table organizes the invisible boundary of the kitchen. Next to the table is a comfy sofa for 2 and on the opossite wall the tv and main furniture for the living room.

Then the partition (with wood sticks - light colored wood , as the table and coffee table) seperates but dosn't hide. Maybe is good for the children (they can play, they can sleep over the bed and you can be on the living room but at the same time can check up on them). It also gives character to the space and it is easy to build (see image drawing and advice). It also doesn't have to be made all at once. Built the main fixed part and continue with the others whenever you want and can afford.

The bedroom has a double size bed with its bedtables and on the opossite wall the closet. The closet was choosed with dark wood so it can be together with your mobile furniture (which you can blace on the wall between the bathroom and the storage room - next to the closet).

We tried to combine the colors you like. The main colors are white and light colored wood but with touches of gray and green. The walls can be painted with a light green-white, just for the shade of green. Fianally the pinches of strong color, such as the front green cupboards of the kitchen, the carpets, and the closet (along woth the floor) give the intensity needed. It's a nice space. It's home.

Thank you
