I limiti del progetto, rappresentati dalle esigue dimensioni dello spazio in questione e dai soffitti alti, sono state il punto di partenza per l'elaborazione della proposta.
Ho scartato la soluzione del bilocale classico perchè avrebbe dato luogo a due piccole stanze di ridotta dimensione con soffitti alti e quindi anguste e di scarsa qualità spaziale.
Ho optato invece per una soluzione più creativa, al di fuori degli schemi classici bilocale/monolocale, che concentra tutte le funzioni nella zona di ingresso in modo da lasciare una porzione di spazio il più grande possibile da destinare alla zona living, che in questo modo risulta ampia e spaziosa.
Il progetto si attua mediante la messa in opera di una struttura in legno integrata, che ospita al suo interno spazi e mobilio, concentrando in se la dotazione delle attrezzature necessarie per abitare lo spazio.
Per contenere al minimo gli spessori dei muri (5/6 cm), la struttura è costituita da telai in legno portanti, tamponati sui due lati con pannellature in parte in legno ed in parte in cartongesso, con all'interno un materiale isolante (tipo polistirene, poliuretano o lana di roccia).
All'interno del bagno i telai della struttura vengono tamponati con pannellature di cartongesso idrofugo e piastrelle in ceramica.
All'ingresso a destra si trova il bagno ben organizzato, che ospita anche la lavatrice e che inoltre gode della presenza della nuova finestra che sicuramente gli conferisce luminosità e ne migliora il funzionamento a livello di aerazione.
Il breve corridoio di accesso è attrezzato sul lato sinistro con ampie armadiature per contenere abiti, scope ed attrezzi per la pulizia ecc.. L'ultimo vano prima di entrare nella zona living è dedicato al frigorifero a servizio della cucina che si trova alla sua destra, appoggiata alle parete del bagno.
La zona letto con materasso matrimoniale è collocata sul soppalco, ricavato sopra l'ingresso ed in parte sopra il bagno, a cui si accede mediante la piccola scala integrata nel mobile basso della zona living. Sul soppalco è presente anche un piccolo vano contenitore ed una libreria.
La zona living è arredata semplicemente con un divano ed un tavolo, che all'occorrenza può ospitare anche 4 persone; non serve nient'altro, perche cucina e spazi per il contenimento sono già ricavati all'interno della struttura; pochi mobili per mantenere l'ambiente libero e spazioso.
Per le pavimentazioni: parquet dappertutto eccetto che nel bagno dove sono previste piastrelle in ceramica.

The limits of the project, represented by the small size of the space in question and high ceilings, have been the starting point for the elaboration of the proposal.
I discarded the solution of the classic two-room apartment because it would have resulted in two small rooms of small size with high ceilings so cramped and poor quality space.
I opted instead for a more creative, outside the classical schemes apartment / studio, which concentrates all the functions in the entrance area so as to leave a portion of the larger space can be allocated to the living area, which in this way It is large and spacious.
The project is implemented through the implementation of an integrated wood structure, which houses in its interior spaces and furniture, focusing on whether the allocation of the necessary equipment for living space.
To minimize the thicknesses of the walls (5/6 cm), the structure consists of frames, wooden carriers, buffered on both sides with panels in wooden part and partly plasterboard, inside with an insulating material (type polystyrene, polyurethane or mineral wool).
Inside the bathroom of the frames are buffered structure with panels of plasterboard waterproof and ceramic tiles.
At the entrance on the right is the bathroom well organized, which also houses the washing machine and it also enjoys the presence of the new window that definitely gives it brightness and improves operation at the level of ventilation.
The short corridor leading to the left side is equipped with spacious wardrobes to store clothes, brooms and cleaning tools etc .. The last compartment before entering the living area is dedicated to the refrigerator at the service of the kitchen that is located to the right leaning against the bathroom wall.
The bedroom with double mattress is placed on the loft, built over the entrance and partly over the bath, which is accessed by small stair integrated in the cabinet below the living area. On the mezzanine it is also a small storage space and a bookcase.
The living area is simply furnished with a sofa and a table, which if necessary can accommodate 4 persons; you do not need anything else, because the kitchen and space for containment are already created inside the structure; little furniture to keep the environment free and spacious.
For flooring: parquet everywhere except in the bathroom where there are ceramic tiles.
