Description

Ιn this very interesting project, we adapted the needs of the owner in a solution functional, economical and cozy. A house to live. So we kept as many existing walls, especially those of the kitchen to the bathroom and the Master bedroom, while the main procedures became at the front of the apartment.

Starting from the kitchen, we chose its development in shape Π. Under the window positioned the sink on the countertop, but the cupboards below have a height of only 40 cm and remains empty space until the floor, to place the heater. Right mounted tall cabinets with fridge and oven, while the focus is positioned right, and leave the rest of the countertop free. Continues a table for 4 persons.

For dining proposed a banquette seating arrangement because it space saving and provides atmosphere for eat & talk. There is and the simple solution indicated, in which framed glass panel take the natural light from the studio.

As you say the grandparents do not permanently live at home, we thought a solution to take advantage of the bigger space for all day use. The living and studio / quest treated as one space, along with the entry and dining room. Thus a circular motion offered by universal access to balconies from both doors from the entire say area. The TV position chosen for better viewing even from the kitchen. Bioethanol fireplace chosen to install into wall, which does not take up space, you do not need a chimney or gas, and does not create ash, but offers true flame and is very economical to purchase and maintain.

When there are guests in the studio, both Pocket doors can be close and isolated the room. The wardrobe is out, having a dual use as a storage space of everyday clothes (jackets, shoes, etc.) while the other half can be used by guests who sleep in sofa bed. When they want to use the bathroom they do not have to go via living room as there is direct access from the second door in the corridor.

The children’s room has space for two, with the beds, offices, libraries and large closet.

The Master bedroom has its own walk-in closet. The existing bathroom was split in two and the area with the window can only be accessed from the master bedroom and has a large shower, sink, basin and bidet. The new wall that divides the two bathrooms is built up to 1.70m. with bricks and continues to ceiling with glass bricks to give natural light to the rear bathroom.

The shared bathroom is complete with shower, sink, basin and bidet and has an entrance from the hallway.

Finally the corridor created enough space for washing machine and storage of cleaners, and is covered with wardrobe doors.
