Description

The plan is designed to take into consideration all existing structural and sanitary equipments while providing the required spaces and spatial qualities.

-Concerning the LIVING ROOM, since the dining room moved to the existing studio and guest bathroom, we now benifit from the extra space in the living. Hence the dining room's sliding doors offer an opportunity to open up to the living room, giving a better living area.
-KITCHEN: Giving the structural wall in middle, i decide to take advantage of their presence to separate the kitchen in two entities. The first is a preparation area between the walls, and to the left, the small dinning area requested.
Since the corridor is on the inside, a glass wall envellops the dinning area to give more light and reduce the feeling claustrophobia.
I put the kitchen next to the existing sanitary equipments of the second apartment's kitchen.
-The ENTRANCE to the apartment is now wider, more welcoming and bright thanks to the window, with entry closet.
-LAUNDRY: The chose to put the laundry room where the previous kitchen was for two reasons. The first, is the existing sanitary equipments and piping. And the second is being far from the night area so there won't be unconfortable noises. Concerning the door it will be designed by the entry closet.
-GUEST/MAID ROOM: The guest bedroom is separated from the rest of the rooms for privacy and close to the kitchen and the guest toilet.
-CHILDREN'S ROOM: The two existing rooms of the right apartment were kept but readjusted according to your needs.
-MASTER BEDROOM: The bathroom to the master bedroom is located next to the children's bathroom to facilitate the joining of pipes in case there aren't any.

The entire apartment is divided in two area, a living area and a night area by a well designed corridor that leads to a dispath area to the bedrooms.
