MERGE TWO APARTMENT - MILAN
DESCRIZIONE DEL PROGETTO
Per la proposta progettuale ho deciso di posizionare la zona giorno nell'appartamento più piccolo, quello di sinistra, mentre la zona notte si trova nell'appartamento a destra più grande e ho mantenuto i due accessi. La zona giorno si articola dall'entrata principale con una zona di ingresso, lo studio con libreria e scrivania, un grande soggiorno con camino e angolo bar. Sono separate da una porta la zona pranzo e la cucina, che restano ambienti passanti senza corridoio, per sfruttare al meglio la luce. I servizi, lavanderia e magazzino, sono posizionati nella zona centrale. Ho cercato di utilizzare le finestre disponibili per le stanze principali e di posizionare i bagni in prossimità degli scarichi esistenti. Per la zona notte sono state previste due camere singole vicine dotate ciascuna di bagno, e una zona master con camera, guardaroba e bagno privato. Alla guestroom si può accedere sia dal corridoio dedicato alla master bedroom sia dall'entrata secondaria, e considerando che avrà un utilizzo limitato per gli ospiti, può essere utilizzata come spazio living/relax all'interno della zona master.
Per le pavimentazioni ho previsto la pavimentazione in parquet e può essere mantenuta in parte anche quella esistente, come quella dell'appartamento più piccolo, mentre per le zone di servizio, bagni e lavanderia, ho scelto per praticità una pavimentazione in gres.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
For the design proposal I decided to place the living area in the smaller apartment, the left one, while the sleeping area is in the larger right apartment and I decided to kept the two accesses. The living area is articulated from the main entrance with an entrance area, a study desk and bookshelves, a large living room with fireplace and a corner bar. The dining area and the kitchen are separated by a door, and there aren't corridors to make the most of the light. The services, laundry and storage, are located in the central area. I tried to use the windows available for the main rooms and to place the bathrooms close to the existing drains. For the sleeping area there are two neighboring single rooms each equipped with bathroom, and a master bedroom area, with private walking closet and bathroom. The guestroom can be accessed either from the corridor of the master bedroom or from the secondary entrance, and considering it will have limited use for guests, it can be used as a living / relaxing area within the master zone.
I have chosen a floor in parquet that it can be maintained in part, even the existing ones, such as the one of the smaller apartment, while for service area, bathrooms and laundry, I have chosen for practicality a foor in gres.
