matera co-hotel: a room made by you!

Briefing

Hi boys!
I need your help to furnish two rooms of my hotel (a bedroom and the reception hall).
My hotel is located in the heart of Matera in the Sassi area.
As you might know Matera is the next European Capital of Culture of 2019! This contest has precisely this objective: allow me to receive as many as possible contributions of furnishing solutions with a contemporary character as well as international, but with an eye to respect the place. So this is a very challenging project...for this reason I'd like to get input and suggestions from all over the world!

Matera is one of the oldest cities in the world infact is becoming increasingly important in the tourism landscape of Southern Italy and it deserves more attention in the hospitality industry.
It becomes very important to choose a flavor and a decor that are not trivial but at the same time they know how to respect the place and the related history.

Matera has obtained the title of European Capital of Culture for 2019, focusing a lot during the application of the concept of Open Innovation and Open Design.

This contest could be a way to begin to practice these two concepts, starting from the accomodation applied by private sector, and thus a good example to follow for other projects in the future .

And also all the participants to this contest could always come and visit us! Looking forward to welcoming you!

For this purpose please help me make sure that this project is worthy for my city!

MORE INFORMATION:
The hotel consists of 9 bedrooms + 1 reception hall/common area
The object of this contest rooms are:
- 1 bedroom (first pdf file attached). This must have a large area dedicated to the body care (see for example render Annex).
- 1 reception hall/common area (last pdf file attached). The latter must include in addition to a lounge area, although the breakfast room and the bar for the receptionist.

For your ease I enclose a pdf map with a possible layout of the rooms, but please feel free to change it if necessary.

Regarding to the furniture, I have attached a few pictures of the style that I like, but if you prefer please feel free to express yourself! :)

The structure inside is all in tuff with the walls in stone, or white painted to half height. The floor instead coulf be changed. At the moment , as you can see from the pictures of the structure, there is a terracotta floor, but in the future we could also replace it by resin or any other material according to your suggestions.
