Residential - Apartment
Dear Client,
Based on the inputs you provided and the preferences you've expressed for your future home, I’ve developed a floorplan layout that I believe aligns well with your needs and vision. The proposal aims to strike a balance between functionality and aesthetics while minimizing extensive renovations—especially when it comes to demolition and reworking plumbing installations. It also provides a flexible foundation for the contemporary interior style you mentioned.
Here’s a brief walkthrough of the layout to give you a clearer idea of the concept:
As you enter the apartment, a wall-mounted mirror with a small seating nook welcomes you on the right, while to the left there’s a practical wardrobe for coats and shoes. Directly by the entrance, a semi-open shelving unit serves as a convenient spot to place items you typically need on your way out.
From the entrance hall, you move into an open-plan area that includes a dining space with a high cabinet and shelving behind it—ideal for storing tableware, books, and decorative pieces. Adjacent to it is the lounge area, featuring a comfortable sofa and a TV wall, which can also accommodate a bioethanol or electric fireplace if you wish. The lounge connects directly to the balcony, bringing in natural light and extending the living space outdoors.
The kitchen is semi-open—visually connected to the open space yet subtly tucked away from the lounge area. It includes full-height cabinets with a built-in pantry, fridge, oven, and microwave. The cooking zone features an induction hob with a hood and lower cabinets, while the sink and dishwasher are placed opposite, where water access was assumed. Additional storage and open shelving are positioned behind the balcony door.
The main bathroom is easily accessible from the entrance hall and open-plan area. It includes a sink, toilet, bidet, a walk-in shower, and a tall cabinet that discreetly houses the washing machine and dryer in a stacked configuration.
The master bedroom offers ample storage with a large built-in wardrobe along both sides of the entrance. It features a king-size bed with nightstands, and a cabinet placed at the foot of the bed, which can serve as both a makeup corner and additional storage, with the option of mounting a TV above it. The en-suite bathroom is fully equipped with a double-sink vanity, toilet, bidet, and walk-in shower.
The second bedroom features a raised platform with a large bed under the window, maximizing the usable floor area and creating visual privacy as you enter. It includes a spacious built-in wardrobe and a shelving unit behind the bed that doubles as a bookshelf and bedside table, with a dedicated desk area opposite.
I’m confident this layout provides a strong foundation for a modern, comfortable, and practical home tailored to your lifestyle.
Warm regards
