Description

Divided&States
Environments . The room
is divided into areas, which still interact and intersect with each other: Dining
Area, Relaxing Area and "Round Area." Dining Area:
a game of cabinets creates an open/closed pantry that adorns the wall in which
they are installed. I chose to keep the existing dining table, accompanied,
however, by designer chairs that add style and light to the environment. The bar
also is a design object, compact and movable: you open it when you need it. Relaxing Area:
I believe that the ideal wall where to project video is the big one next to the
bow window, so the sofa is placed near to the middle of the room in the
direction of that. A system of shelves crown the projection area, so as to
furnish the wall even when the projector is turned off. "Round
Zone" is the joker of the room: I took advantage of the bow window to
create additional seats, which also contain drawers for storage. A round table
serves as a support surface for those sitting at the window and for anyone who
is on the couch. This area can be used as a further dining area as an extension
of the relaxing area. An element
of visual merge is the false ceiling plasterboard, which crosses the ceiling of
the room containing the spotlights and lamps that hang on the tables. For the
most part, these are simple and not expensive furniture, with some design
objects, so that the whole take an original appearance.
