Description

LEYLA'S VILLA-PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project has been designed in order to obtain large and bright environments, with no waste of space. This aim has been achieved thanks to the positioning of the stairs, which are the center of the flat. Its central location allows to have, on the ground floor, a large space for the living room and dining room and, on the first floor, windows in all rooms. On the ground floor we decided to create a wall-library that supports the stairs and constitutes a “wing” for the living room. The kitchen is located in a secluded place in the house, but thanks to a sliding door that disappears into the wall, it can connect directly to the space of the dining room. A small bathroom with dressing room is located in the sub-stairs, so to use all the space that would otherwise be wasted. On the first floor the rooms are arranged in a centrifuge way starting from the stairs: the two rooms for the children are located on the west side, while the main room overlooking the garden, with a large spacious bathroom and an equally large walk-in closet. Here too, the scale below the stairs is used as storage, in front of which we have included a relax area with sofa and armchairs. We have also assumed a layout for the second floor: a terrace of 35 sqm facing west, while the study and the guest bedroom look out onto the private garden.
