The main idea of the design was to maintain the walls, because even though cost and pricing wasn't a criterion from the client, the designer tried to make the execution or construction as simple and cheap as possible. But at the same time be able to achieve the criteria of the client such as lighting and open spaces. The kitchen was replaced favorably with the already existing water pipes, giving a chance to open the whole space by taking down a few walls.
