Description

This basement-garage refurbished into a brand new chill out space merges a series of functional areas such as a mini pool, steam room, instrument room and sofa into a single open space that allows for the interconnection of such spaces without partition walls. The aim of the project is to emphasize the most used spaces depending on its activity in the long term. The juxtaposition of wood, stone and brick provides the space with a modern outlook.

The main chill out space consists of two sofas with a large stand and a low piece of furniture as a space for storing, stacking or shelving books, decoration and TV. The pool is located adjacent to this space to provide a direct view towards the television. In addition, the small kitchen also allows for eating with friends and family. The instrument space was located closer to the main large door because it can be opened and hence use the area as a small stage. The space is as a result flexible and can be transformed according to the client.
