Interior Layout of Villa Altomare

One of your main requests was to design the rest of the house around the kitchen you had already developed, and preferably to keep it facing the pool. Considering the form of the kitchen, the position of the pool, and the west side being the best location for the main entrance, I placed the kitchen along the south and east sides of the house, with the living area connected to it.
In Alternative 1, to benefit from southern light, I placed the kitchen on the east side and positioned the living room in the southwest, connected both to the kitchen and to the entrance. This layout includes a corner sofa, a TV wall, shelving, a dining table, and a cabinet for tableware. The entrance is on the west side and includes a wardrobe and shoe storage.
In Alternative 2, I placed the kitchen along the south side and located the living room along the eastern wall. With this configuration, I created a separate laundry room next to the kitchen, and a more public bathroom (with a window) near the entrance of the house. I also added a sliding door between the laundry room and this bathroom so that, if you prefer, you can access the bathroom through the laundry room instead of directly from the entrance. The entrance wardrobe in this alternative is placed in a recessed niche. The more private bathroom (also with a window) is located in the bedroom area.
In Alternative 1, the two bathrooms are placed next to each other, and the laundry area is integrated into the larger bathroom.
The bedroom zone, which includes two children’s rooms and one double bedroom, is located on the north side of the plot and can be separated from the day area with a glass door.
I designed the exterior walls with a thickness of 40 centimeters so that, if you decide to add insulation, the interior dimensions will not fall below the required minimums.
