Description

EXTERIOR

Front facade of the house uses a combination of white and gray colour, as well travertine stone and wooden finishing. Several very interesting visual effects were achieved on the exterior of the house, by making clever use of colour. One of those effects can be seen with white colour on the upper floors and gray colour on the ground floor, which makes the depth of the house stand out. This creates a dynamic, which highlights the warmth of colours and materials.
Entrances into the object are distinguished by wooden canopies, as well as the pavement, which naturally direct movement towards the entrances. Side facade, due to its oblong shape, is dashed with vertical oriels and is partially covered with vertically placed wooden slats. Such a simple use of materials crates an optical illusion that the whole side house façade look shorter but higher.
Two solutions for laying out stones can be found in the attachment. In the first solution, facades are treated with travertine stone, wood and white/gray colour (please take a look at 3D image). Stone tiles of larger size are aligned with other tiles of similar size. This layout contributes to modern look of the house, while natural materials make it look warm and welcoming. In the second solution, layout of stones is irregular, and stone tiles have different sizes, in order to make it look more natural-shaped (please take a look at 3D image). Joints are miniature in size, therefore only the facade shapes are visible, but not the stone tiles joints. House still looks very modern, having a strong bond with nature. Front cubic, where the entrance is located is treated with wooden cover, linking it with existing entry portal.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN

Landscape design of the entrance is treated minimally, with a large lawn area and just a couple of plants in order to create a yard for the house, which has big dimensions compared to the green area in front of it. That way, the beauty of the object stands out and it seems observable. Behind the house there is a private garden in free form, sheltered from the visitors’ eyes, with a temple in its natural environment, which can also be larger in size.

INTERIOR

House is furnished with Italian furniture, which has been appreciated for centuries, thanks to its beautiful, simple lines and quality natural materials.
Functionality and logical movement throughout the whole house were put in the first place, as well as easy movement in each functional unit for itself. As requested, the second floor is modern and has simple lines and shape, utilizing wooden covering on the walls. Ground floor and first floor are equipped with furniture whose charm never fades because it breathes warmth and comfort, without neglecting beauty and harmony.

Second floor

Projector screen is placed on the requested spot and the living/dining area was organized around it. Comfortable seating in front of the screen, with low sofa rest is continued onto the dining area where seating table is located. Projector screen is therefore visible from every part of the space. Master bedroom consists of three parts which don’t have physical barriers between them: sleeping, reading and sitting in front of the TV next to the shelving system (please take a look at 3D image). Next to the reading area there is a hidden closet with invisible doors in order to create a simple and functional shape of the room. A beautiful walk-in closet is linked to a comfortable bathroom with a separate zone for bathing. Terrace is split in two zones that are connected by mini-stairs. One zone is the relaxation zone next to the chimney, green areas and a beautiful view; the other zone is for barbeque and dining, surrounded by green area, as well. Behind the barbeque there are stairs that lead to another terrace and they are separated from this area with white, wooden battens with small spacing. A bar for preparing drinks is connected to the living/dining area - this is a comfortable place for hanging out and socializing.

First floor

First impression of this floor is the lounge area with a small dining table, placed in a way that the space breathes organization and simple and beautiful lines (please take a look at 3D image). It is connected to the kitchen with two ribbon windows. Master bedroom is accessed through the living area and it has a makeup area, reading area and a separate, beautiful dressing area connected to the toilet zone. Study room with working area and seating area is accessed through lounge area, as well as through master room which is further connected to the gym.

Ground floor

Like on other floors, functionality of the area with the choice of traditional furniture that breathes warmth and harmony was put in the first place. Entrance is spacious, transparent and welcoming. It has a clearly separated access to the drawing room (please take a look at 3D image). Wardrobe is separated from the seating area with a semi-transparent wall on which TV is mounted. This is the main connection between elevator, backyard and temple, as well as the bedrooms. Dining and family gathering areas are placed in front of green spaces of the front facade and these areas are connected as a whole. Across the big dining table there are family lounge and toilet entrances that have the same colour as the wall, giving the impression of an undivided space (please take a look at 3D image). Kitchen is reorganized in order to maximize functionality and it is connected with laundry.

LIGHTING DISTRIBUTION

Lighting in the whole house is a combination of spot and linear lights. Exceptions are parts of the ceiling above the dining table where chandeliers are dominating the space. Floor and table lamps are lights that have decorative role, as well as lighting. It is possible to put ventilation and air-conditioning systems, since the major part of the ceiling is free.
