Description

Dear Client

The new configuration has a clear division between the day and night zones, the bedrooms are closer to the entrance so you dont need to pass through the living area to reach them, hence disturbing anyone watching the TV or having dinner when you come in late. The living area is organised out of the two rooms far left on the plan and the small storage between them, it eliminates a large area of hallway space and doors. In our arrangement you have a very small hallway that separates the day and night zones. It has transparent doors/screens and lets light through. Thanks to this we eliminated a few bad aspects in comfort - too many doors in a single hallway, a door at the end of the hallway and three doors making a triangle at the end of a hallway. By moving doors of the bedrooms we made space for a large wardrobe in the new hallway, which is also the entrance to both bathrooms, so they are secluded and not visible from the living space. By moving the walls in the lower part of the apartment we managed to place a bathtub in one of them and a shower in the other. The entrance hallway has a large cabinet for clothes, shoes and work necesities, keys and the like
The new great room is organised to take prime quality lighting from both sides. It has no large structures between the windows and will always be a very light and pleasant space. The Living area naturally has access to the terrace, the dining room is strategically set to be the first thing you see when entering from the hallway, and the large kitchen is elegantly placed to have a large window and a small ventilated pantry next to it. In the bedrooms we found no problem with the existing dimensions and didnt intervene, other than relocating the doors so they are better accesible. All rooms have workdesks beside the window and beds facing in the right side. They will enjoy the best light and never be affected by too strong sunlight. The boys' room is the smaller one, since they are younger, and we left the daughters with the terrace as an added bonus. The master bedroom is larger so it can have a set of cozy chairs by the window, without the need for a terrace.

We hope you like our project
