The project aims to maintain a link with the charcater of the room and their preexisting furniture while giving a new renovated and modern style at the office room. For this reason I wanted to paint the walls whit a very cool gray colour and the windows frame and the door in white, to create a very interesting contrast with the warm colour of cherry wood. The gray binds to the colour of the fireplace wall and with the style of the Aviator Chair. The new furniture are made of the same wood (cherry wood) of the existing ones, while having a modern style. Inserting an L-shaped desk accompanied by a new hutch creates a significant increase in the work space and the old desk can be used if you need to work with your business partner. The amount spent on new furniture (desk, hutch and two office chairs) is $ 464.19.
