Whole project is made according to clients wishes, where client chose the placement of ''the box'' and it had lead the main design ideas.
Height of the box is 270cm, and is made out of KNAUF walls, easy to built. Considering inspirational photos, it is proposed to put rustic wood finish on the knauf walls, but its not mandatory, it may also have normal plaster finish. In both cases is proposed to have the box from outside in dark color scheme, so it would fit interior the best. Considering that the rest of interior is white with dark accents, dark box would lift the space in design manner.
Box is without ceiling, so natural light is coming from up, or from sliding doors when they are opened.
All of the furniture chosen for the box are ''ageless'', avoiding ''childish'' designs, so they can be reused after. Only piece of furniture which is custom made is wardrobe with a bookshelf, which fits the space, and makes this room actually designed. Shelf is multi-functional, and can be used as a bookshelf, or sitting place, relax etc.
Curtains around bed would give ''girly'' feel, and would provide certain privacy even if the doors are opened.
We, as an architects, would also propose having some light in the box, just hanging from original ceiling, considering that the box is without ceiling, and it would look great from outside of box.
Colors inside are inspired by ''BANG BANG'' video from ARIANA GRANDE, whose poster we also chose to frame and put inside. Interior is made comfortable and ittle bit quirky, fitting the needs of 12 year old. Hope she likes it.
