Description

My proposal for this kitchen plans to enlarge the staircase leading to the mezzanine up to 1.2 meters in order to accommodate below it a part of the pantry with sliding door.
The kitchen has been organized in order to have a central fulcrum represented from the cooking area, which was formed around the septal wall that supports the mezzanine.
Behind it I placed the preparation and storage area, which remains half hidden when you look at kitchen from the meals area. Here you find two refrigerators, three high cabinets with ovens and pantry, plus a worktop with sink and dishwasher.
Between the cooking area and the meals area I placed an island with sink, whose plan is based on various base storage cabinets, where you can sit on bar stools.
On the windowed wall I placed a container bench near the old stove, and an area for making tea and coffee.

Kitchen cabinets and doors are made of wood in a traditional style, fully framed, off-white for the kitchen and dark brown for the island. I wanted to include some glass door to ease the kitchen composition, these cabinets will be provided with integrated lighting. All cabinets are crowned with distinctive profile molding to the ceiling.

Regarding the worktop material, there is a quartz one on the island (very resistant to scratches and stains) and a solid walnut one on the rest of kitchen, both are in contrast with the cabinet colors.

Walls are white to give the room a bright appearance, they are decorated with traditional style shelves.
