Outdoor - Garden
The architectural concept of the courtyard design is based on creating a dynamic and multifunctional outdoor space that offers a variety of experiences within a cohesive layout. The organization of the courtyard is carefully planned to provide multiple zones for relaxation, socializing, and movement, ensuring both functionality and visual interest.
The layout is structured around a network of pathways that guide movement through the space. These paths naturally lead toward a central focal point—a slightly sunken seating area designed around an outdoor fireplace. This central zone acts as the heart of the courtyard, encouraging gathering and creating an intimate atmosphere enhanced by the lowered level and surrounding elements.
In addition to the central gathering space, the courtyard includes several complementary areas. A dedicated chill-out zone provides a more relaxed setting for rest and informal use, while a swing element introduces a playful and leisurely feature within the landscape. Another section of the courtyard is organized as a shaded seating area, equipped with a sun umbrella, offering comfort during warmer periods and extending usability throughout the day.
The existing pavilion retains its original position within the layout, preserving the spatial balance of the courtyard. However, it has been enhanced both functionally and aesthetically. The pavilion now accommodates a buffet-style serving area (Swedish table), making it suitable for hosting and entertaining. Its ambiance is further enriched through the integration of carefully designed lighting and lush greenery, contributing to a more inviting and refined atmosphere.
Overall, the design achieves a harmonious balance between structured organization and relaxed outdoor living, transforming the courtyard into a versatile and engaging environment.
