Outdoor - Garden
This is a fantastic canvas to work with. With approximately 200 sqm of space and an existing 30 sqm gazebo, the goal is to create a seamless transition between the lush lawn and the high-traffic banquet functions of the pool area.
Since this space needs to handle buffet events while remaining a beautiful garden, a "Zoned Flow" approach is often the most effective. Here are some design concepts to complete the area:
1. The Hardscape Extension (Transition Zone)
To link the garden to the pool area for banquets, consider adding a paved or decked apron around the gazebo or along the edge joining the pool.
Material: Large-format porcelain tiles or a light-colored stone (like Travertine) that stays cool underfoot.
Function: This provides a level, stable surface for heavy buffet tables and high-traffic catering staff, preventing the lawn from getting muddy or damaged during events.
2. The Gazebo as the "Service Hub"
Since the gazebo is 30 sqm (likely the 6 \text{m} \times 5 \text{m} area noted in your sketch), it should act as the central anchor.
Outdoor Kitchen/Bar: Install a permanent sleek bar counter or a modular outdoor kitchen station inside or adjacent to the gazebo.
Atmosphere: Use integrated LED strip lighting under the bar counter and hanging woven pendants for a warm, high-end evening glow.
3. Integrated Lounge Seating
Instead of just open grass, use the corners of the 12m width to create "pockets" of intimacy.
Built-in Bench Seating: Low-profile concrete or wood benches along the "Siepe" (hedge) lines. This saves space compared to bulky chairs.
Fire Pit Feature: A modern, linear gas fire pit at the far end of the lawn creates a natural gathering point after the buffet is over.
4. Lighting & Greenery Enhancement
The sketch shows several existing trees; these are your best assets for "Vertical Interest."
Uplighting: Place waterproof spotlights at the base of each tree to highlight the canopy. This adds depth to the 200 sqm space at night.
Festoon Lighting: String "Edison-style" bulbs from the gazebo to the perimeter trees to create a "ceiling" of light over the lawn, making the outdoor area feel like an outdoor room.
